Tom Berger Becomes an Honorary AIA Member

At the Honors Gala 2005off-site link on June 25th, the Seattle AIAoff-site link will officially award honorary membership to Tom Berger, alongside such industry contributers as DPD’s Diane Sigumuraoff-site link, architectural photographer Laura Swimmeroff-site link and Ellen Southardoff-site link, a principal at Swenson Say Fagetoff-site link.

Fireplace in Sunset Magazine

The Yakima Residence’s firepit was featured in Sunset Magazineoff-site link, in the June 2005 issue, page 78. The article astutely points out:

"On a cool evening, there’s nothing more appealing than relaxing beside a flickering fire. When the firepit is just outside the back door, it’s like having your own private campground. […] This project was a winner in Sunset’s Western Garden Design Awards."

Entry-Level Positions Open

The Berger Partnership is currently seeking candidates for several entry-level design staff positions. Requires a landscape architecture degree, expertise in Auto CAD,
proficiency in standard office programs such as Word and Excel, and
some experience with specialty programs such as Photoshop and/or
Illustrator. Microstation knowledge a major plus.
