Bermuda Sod Transferred to SU Championship Field

Sod was purchased for the Real Madrid vs DC United game at Qwest

Field on August 9th, 2006 and is now being installed at Championship Field. DA Hoganoff-site linkworked with The Berger Partnership and the Universityoff-site link to find a home for the sod as part of the field renovation project that is currently underway. The Berger Partnership, DA Hogan and Ferguson Construction are working to complete construction of a new grandstand at the field for the Redhawks first game of the season on August 24, 2006. The sod will be ready for play on August 15th, 2006. Some TBP staffers spent an afternoon scoping it out.

Greenbridge Becomes a “Legacy”

August 11th, 2006

The Berger Partnership has been working on the Greenbridge 100-acre housing project with King County Housing Authorities, GGLO and others. Greenbridge is envisioned as an entire community with parks, trail systems, a branch library and community center and is estimated to be finished by 2013.

It recently won a “Legacy of LIvable Communities” award from Governor Christine Gregoire. Greenbridge received such recongition because of its innovative approach to creating amore livable community and advancing goals of the Growth Management Act.

Cal Anderson is People’s Pick 2006

Every year, nwsource.com does a People’s Pick survey, voting for everything from the city’s best sushi to park. It’s a chance for locals & visitors to vote for the places, things, etc that deserve special recognition. This year they added the best city park category; and Cal Anderson walked away as the people’s number one choice.

Company Picnic at Ravenna Park

The Berger Partnership celebrates the year with food, putt putt and good company. All fun was had at Ravenna Park; a park formed when melt-off from the Vashon Glacial Ice Sheet formed Lake Russell and cut drainage ravines through new glacial fill.
