Marcus De La Fleur, ASLA, was interviewed this week on Chicago Public Radio’s program “Worldview” about how he convinced his landlord, Ben Rush, to improve his rental home’s stormwater management. The property produced 970 gallons of runoff before tearing up the grass and pavement, replacing them with rain gardens, gravel grass, porous pavement and rooftop gardens; the property now gets only “2 bathtubs of runoff instead of 18.”
