TBP is Greening Up with Seattle City Light

July 21st, 2008

Add us to the list of businesses that are supporting Green Upoff-site link, Seattle City Light’s effort to purchase new sources of renewable energy.

Taken from their website - “Green Up is Seattle City Light’s voluntary green power program for residential and business customers. By enrolling in Green Up, customers purchase green power for a portion of their electricity use and demonstrate their support for wind power and other new renewable energy projects in the Northwest. Choosing green power reduces our reliance on fossil fuels, improves air quality and helps reduce the growth of climate-warming emissions. The Green Up program is Green-e certified and fulfills LEED© Project green power requirements. Through Green Up you may also purchase green power for your organization’s event.”

Pomegranate Center in the Seattle P.I.

July 7th, 2008

Last year we offered sponsorship and support to the Pomegranate Centeroff-site link, through time and monetary donations. Their vision is one that resonates with us - bringing people together to build better communities.

We are excited to see that the Pomegranate Center was featured in the Seattle P.I., in an article titled, “Artwork Gives Developments a Touch of Humanityoff-site link,” focusing on their fantastic and painstaking planning for the High Point Neighborhood. You can also see more about their projects at their websiteoff-site link.
