Denny Park Play Area Grand Opening

Zip it…Zip it good! Saturday May 2nd TBP, Seattle Parksoff-site link and the Denny neighborhood celebrated Denny A Go Go, the grand opening of a new play area at Denny Park, 100 Dexter Avenue North. In spite of drizzly weather, hundreds of park users, including members of the Denny family, attended the opening day celebration listening to the Spruce Street School marimbas, playing games, and enjoying local fare. Most notable was watching children waiting patiently in long lines for a chance to ride the new European play equipmentoff-site link–the merry go round and cable ride–long awaited park features.

Hyatt at Olive8 Mention in Time Magazine

Hyatt at Olive8 was mentionedoff-site link in the May Supplement to Time Magazineoff-site link, Time Style & Design. Listed under hotels in The Green Design 100off-site link, Time states, “Not a typical big-city hotel, the Hyatt at Olive 8 embraces nature. It has an 8,355-sq.-ft. living rooftop, and with an all-glass façade, 75% of its interior spaces are graced with daylight. The hotel’s Elaia spa uses all-natural ingredients for treatments like Olive Therapy and Market Fresh.” Congratulations to everyone that made this project possible!
