 Fred JalaSenior Project Manger, Landscape Architect
Fred brings a passion for creating unique and memorable spaces to his projects, such as Juanita Village, the Bristol at Southport, and university campuses such as Seattle University. As both project manager and designer, he oversees his projects from beginning to end, from concept through construction. He has been with us since 1994, earning his license in 1999.
Fred believes that children are our future, and volunteers as a mentor for UW Landscape Architecture students and as an occasional studio guest critic. Currently, he is a group leader in the ACE Mentor Program, which introduces high school students to careers in architecture, construction and engineering. He has also given talks extolling the virtues of landscape architecture to the public for the UW Extension Program.
