Nestled in the foothills of South Bellevue with sweeping views of the Puget sound basin, Forest Ridge school completed the first phase of a multi phase master plan. Two new buildings will be added to the campus that will accommodate the Administration and High School Students. Site design for the campus includes outdoor spaces for students to gather and learn. Of particular interest is the outdoor learning area that is adjacent to the science class rooms. A rainwater swale that collects water from the roof of the building will trickle down the site to a storm water pond. Here there will be an opportunity to conduct research on natural systems right from the classroom.
