I received my undergraduate degree in 2002, at the University of Washington, focusing on Interdisciplinary Art and Art History. In 2010, I earned my Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Oregon. My passion within the field focuses on the human, social perception and comprehension of green stormwater infrastructure. I believe that thoughtful, provoking design intrigues the human spirit and invites people to interact with and learn from the environment. Before joining Berger as a staff member I spent the summer of 2009 researching and completing an internship report comparing Sustainable Sites Initiative with the Living Building Challenge called – Fundamentals of Integrated Design: The Living Building Challenge & Sustainable Sites Initiative.
I enjoy spending my free time exploring the outdoors hiking, cycling, skiing, kayaking or backpacking with family or friends. Traveling through Thailand and studying landscape design and watercolor painting in Kyoto, Japan are two of my most valued international experiences. I look forward to many more worldly adventures in the future.
