As part of Berger since 1974, and a principal since 1981, I have shaped seminal projects and the firm’s direction. I am a collaborator, I value sharing knowledge and experiences with design teams, clients and staff and I utilize my institutional knowledge to add depth to new projects and foster long-term relationships. I’m a believer of constant evolution and embrace collectively pushing projects and processes to exceed program expectations. My current projects explore combining design expression and legible functioning natural systems within the context of urban and industrial settings – Pierce County Central Maintenance Facility, Mason County PUD #3. Work has taken me throughout the US and Japan. I’m licensed in 27 states – pretty much wherever there is a Nordstrom store. The perspective gained by working in other regions has brought great value to project design and construction implementation.
Out of the office you will find me working on my Ballard house or on my bicycle training for another STP – if you honk your horn, do it with a smile!
