I recently relocated from San Diego to Seattle to join Berger with a Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a degree in Architecture. Prior to my studies in landscape architecture I worked as an architect in India.
My unique background gives me a fresh perspective and a holistic approach to site development and influences my approach to sustainable design. I am a strong believer in the importance of an interdisciplinary design approach that considers all aspects of place making to be of equal importance. This philosophy has influenced my work on projects ranging from small residential projects to green infrastructure projects in dense urban environments and has helped me forward sustainable practices in developing nations.
I am actively updating my knowledge with professional training and research work in rainwater harvesting, eco-tourism and sustainable sites. As a USGBC Education Reviewer for Pacific Region, my knowledge in the field remains current and updated.
My recent work at Berger includes Rose Hill Junior High School and Block 10.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy traveling, photography and exploring a recently discovered interest in adventure sports!
