Bridle Trails Valley Creek Park
Bellevue, WA
Berger Partnership brought the city and community’s vision to life with a thoughtfully designed neighborhood park, modest in scale and seamlessly integrated into its wooded surroundings. This new destination offers a welcoming space with amenities, walking paths, and seating areas centered around a play zone inspired by treehouses.
The playground features a diverse range of equipment that supports holistic child development: spinning and swinging elements for vestibular stimulation, climbing structures for physical growth, tactile components for sensory and cognitive engagement, and opportunities for social interaction at varying levels of challenge—empowering children to choose their own adventure.
Caregivers appreciate the built-in seating thoughtfully placed near the play areas, offering comfort and clear sightlines throughout the park.
Site design carefully considered the natural environment, incorporating existing natural areas and wetland habitats while minimizing impact to the Native Growth Protection Area.
